Independent service organisation of wives of Rotarians. Complimentary to Rotary in their service to mankind. In England, on 15 May, 1923, the Manchester Club proposed "The Formation of a Ladies' Rotary Club in Manchester." The proposal was lost, but instead, the first Inner Wheel Club was formed.
