NANDITA SEN PRESIDENT 200&-2009 Mrs. Nandita Sen became a member of the Rotary Club of Calcutta in 1990. Nandita Sen is a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Law - first in first class in Patna University and also recipient of gold medallion for being the most distinguished graduate of the year 1958. She is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Mrs. Sen Is an AMP from the Harvard Business School, Boston, USA. She has done an exchange program on tax aspects of doing cross - border business, with the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation, Amsterdam, the Research wing of International Fiscal Association at the Netherlands. Mrs. Sen combines the experience of a Chartered Accountant in the profession as well as in industry. She has been the senior partner of a firm of Chartered Accountants, the oldest firm in Bihar and also gained experience of over two decades in the multinational business conglomerate, ITC Ltd, Mrs. Sen was Executive Vice President of ITC Ltd. and a Director on the Board of ITC Hotels Ltd and other investment subsidiaries of the ITC group. She is currently a non executive director on the Boards of Orissa Sponge Iron & Steel Ltd., Gloster Jute Mills Ltd, Cadworld Infosystems Private Ltd and Srishti Business Services Private Ltd. Past President of Calcutta Management Association (CMA) and Past President of Association of Corporate Advisers and Executive (ACAE). Was elected as a member of the Eastern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and was nominated to the 'Committee of Accountants in Industry' of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi. Mrs. Sen has been a visiting faculty with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kolkata, XLRI, Jamshedpur, and International Management Institute (IMI) New Delhi. Mrs. Sen has been a frequent speaker and paper writer on taxation and management issues both at national and International Seminars and conferences including those at Sydney, Montreal and Amsterdam. She has been actively involved in the Chambers of Commerce and Trade Bodies at the Apex and State levels. Was invitee to the Managing Committee of ASSOCHAM, New Delhi, to the Council of Management All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi and the managing committee (The Committee} of Bharat Chamber of Commerce Kolkata. Was Chairman of Taxation Committee of ASSOCHAM, Federation of Indian Exports Organisation (FIEO) New Delhi, Indian Chamber of Commerce & Bharat Chamber of Commerce, Calcutta. Was Member of various committees-including
Economic Affairs Committee / Foreign Trade Committee/ Taxation & Company
Laws Committee of Assocham, FICCI, Cll, at Delhi and Indian Chamber of
