BRISBANE 2003 RI CONVENTION
1-4 June 2003 Sun - Wed, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

Tips for first-time convention attendees:

1. Travel with a member or group of Rotarians from your club or district, so that you can experience the convention together. Bring club banners or other mementos to exchange at the House of Friendship.
2. Stay at a hotel close to the convention site (ideally within walking distance) to reduce the time spent commuting or waiting for shuttle buses.
3. Sign up in advance for any home hospitality events to avoid long lines on site. This is one of the best ways to get to know the people and experience the culture of the host country.
4. Attend as many plenary sessions and workshops as possible to learn about Rotary's programs and new developments.
5. Take at least one tour, before or after the convention, to learn more about the culture and attractions of the host country.
