Rtn. Yash Pal Das Rl Director Nominee 2011-13, Zone 4 Yash joined Rotary in 1971. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Ambala in Rl District 3080. He has served Rotary in several assignments, such as International Training Leader, Discussion Moderator, Group Study Exchange Team Leader and Committee and Task Force Member, as Chair of the Rotary International Committee on Sergeant-at Arms and as Chairman for the 2006 Rotary Institute for Zones 5 & 6A in Chandigarh. A former member of the India National Polio Plus Committee for 14 years he is currently the Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator He is the Chief Executive Officer of the family business, running an Automobile Dealership, retailing passenger cars and commercial vehicles. He is a member of various commerce bodies connected with road transportation, and serves on the board of several educational institutions and is also a member of the Rotary Society for the Hearing Impaired. Yash is married to Manju a past president of the Inner Wheel Club and both are Major Donors to The Rotary Foundation. |
